VP debate?

I have to admit ignorance and say that I know NOTHING about either VP and that frightens me--if we lost our president, the VP would take over. Not to mention the fact that he's the Speaker of the House (right?, or is that the Senate?). Sheesh! Anyway, I have no clue what to expect tonight . . .

Wow, for someone with a Master's in Poli Sci you would think you would know that the VP is the President of the Senate, not the Speaker of the House. Speaker of the House is Dennis Hastert, from your home state of Illinois, and I believe your congressman from your area :)

VP debate doesnt mean anything. Although Cheney is very intelligent and will not waver. I think he will make John Edwards, who performed poorly in the primary debates, look like a whiny little kid.

We'll see...

To my credit, I knew that it was one of the two, I just get them mixed up sometimes--sheesh! I don't mind admitting my ignorance sometimes because we all have things that we aren't sure of. I studied and understand foundations of government and theories of political life--how people should best live together. The particulars of current government were never my focus or interest and I won't lie about that. However, I can explain the usefulness of our institutions and the federalist and antifederalist debates for all of them with the best of them!

Aparently, if Jen missed that question on a standardized test, she's a moron and none of her opinions matter anyways. Okay, back to the subject. The VP debate is just a chance for two people to argue for their running mate. Also, look how much experience Dubya had when he became pres. That didn't seem to scare ALMOST half of the voters.
